To the degree dedicated personal prayer is neglected we languish, becoming more unsettled and restless with increasing frustration discouragement.

Speak with God throughout the day. Share with God all your situations and circumstances. Avoid interrupting the dialogue. Permit God to be a part of all your activities. Imitating Jesus, also be sure to unplug for deeper personal prayer. Neither duration nor technique matter – just be sure to make good with a daily moment that is given entirely to God.

  • How do you experience deeper personal prayer?

“For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and love, recognizing both trial and joy.”

– Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower of Jesus (+1897)
