Praying is a minimum daily Christian activity. The Gospels attest that Jesus had the habit of praying early in the morning in out-of-the-way places. The disciples would find Jesus deep in conversation with His heavenly Father and wonder what was being said. In today’s Gospel (Luke 11:1-13) they finally muster up the courage to ask. Jesus’ answer is the prayer His followers are to make their own.
