The human heart is made to seek, to find and to love Almighty God.
We only are a brief time removed from Christmas. Recall how we recently contemplated Jesus in the Bethlehem cave. The King of the Universe revealing Himself to us poor, humble and defenseless. God Himself becoming like us in all things but sin.
The Psamist confidently exclaims what others later experienced with Jesus’ arrival: “Only in God is my soul at rest” (Psalm 62).
How many people have I helped to seek and find God this past Christmas and New Year?
Lord, move us right now to seek you and to find you and to love you! Inspire also our family, friends, colleagues and every single person we meet to do the same. You are all we need.
