How easy it is for me at times to be skeptical of others who make promises I doubt they will keep. Having been disappointed before, my tendency can be to assume others will not follow through.
Jesus, on the other hand, assures me that he will not disappoint. “I will not reject anyone who comes to me” (Jn. 6: 37). He does not insist that I perform at a certain level, that I succeed in any way, or that I qualify for His love. He simply asks that I come to Him.
Jesus has never failed to keep His promises. He is always faithful. That is GOOD NEWS!
