Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24).
Taking up one’s cross means accepting the difficulties God permits to happen as opportunities for our continuing purification, keeping our promises and seeing our duties through to their proper completion.
Ask the Lord that you may learn to live your life in the best way possible.
