Souls close to the Lord Jesus speak with one voice about the supreme importance of prayer in the Christian life. Prayer enables us to persevere in service of God and neighbor. Prayer allows us to make progress in the face of every difficulty for it unites us with Jesus – Jesus who lovingly and patiently waits every day for us to make our way to Him.
