Remember always that the sacred text expresses no less than the very words and deeds of Christ Jesus the Lord. Listen. We savor the delights of all that we need know and receive instructions as to how we ought to live. Follow.
Our task is to apply God’s Word to the particular circumstances of our daily living. The Gospel is the rule for life. Therefore, meet Jesus in the Gospel. Daily. Encounter Him. Daily. Let the Author of Life teach us, console us, encourage us and guide us. A mere few minute every day enables us to get to know Jesus better and better. As we deepen our relationship with Him, everything else follows: imitating His life more joyfully, loving Him more wholeheartedly and recognizing Him more readily in all those whom we encounter in our ordinary experience.
