On the FEAST OF ALL SAINTS – November 1 – the Church invites us to recall the special ways that so many before us have experienced difficulties and temptations similar to our own and how they triumphed over them!
The Church recognizes saints of every era, age, location and situation. We remember them so to be inspired by their steadfast perseverence and emboldened by their great love. So, too, do we call upon them as intercessors to pray with us and to pray for us to help us overcome the difficulties and temptations assailing us.
After all, WINNING HEAVEN is the goal of every Christian. We strive to achieve this every day always with God’s grace. If through God’s grace and the help of others we do reach heaven, we will not enter into eternal glory alone, but alongside many others others who will be welcoming us joyously.
