God has made us for Himself and we cannot live apart from Him. We need God We hunger and thirst for Him. It may be experienced firstly as an ache for something more or a longing to find a different way that brings meaning, joy and fulfillment. The more we permit the glorious light of Christ’s Resurrection to flood our lives, the more our need of God grows along with our desire for God’s truth.
Let us unashamedly declare the triumphal call of Christ’s Resurrection – Alleluia!
Like the sound of reveille, it calls us in to the spiritual battle that lies at the center of daily living.
The Gospel summons rouses us to live more alertly and confidently in Christ’s Resurrection.
God is always with us, even if we do not feel Him, even when we do not notice His presence and recognize His power. God is here, God remains with us. Our task is to remain with Him.
