In order to grow and develop, the INTERIOR LIFE requires time and effort. Lots of both. Like all relationships, there is no easy and there is no instant with regards to maturing spiritually.
Along our way setbacks stand to help us be more humble and in doing so we become more receptive to God’s assistance and guidance. Victories rightly evoke gratitude for the power of grace at work in and around us.
The simple facts remains: we need to begin, begin and begin again, try anew over and over. Don’t give in to discouragement – persevere in prayer. Resist looking for immediate results – trust in Jesus.
