“The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words” (Romans 8:26).
Hold fast to this truth! Especially in troubled times when our soul feels its powerlessness, when we no longer feel like God cares, when we are unable even to know how to make our way to God. Indeed, iwhen we feel distant from God, when our heart is heavy and our mind is scattered, the Holy Spirit still stirs within us, graciously seeking to bring about our turning to God.
