Lent is meant to awaken our desire to become a saint, to strive to become one. If other efforts in the past have been unsuccessful or have not reached the goal, cast discouragement aside and begin again today.
Repeat humbly and confidently, “today I begin.” Let our experiences of past failures move us to trust in God alone.
