Earlier this morning, POPE FRANCIS made an unexpected visit to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major and prayed before the famous Madonna.
Tonight he and the cardinals will celebrate Holy Mass together.
In addition to Spanish and Italian, he also is reported as being fluent in German, English, and French. Hailing for Argentina, he undoubtedly is at least proficient in his use of Portuguese (which is the national language in Brazil).
God profoundly blesses us all with the election of the new Pope Francis.
