At daily Mass, today we begin working our way through the first book of the Bible – the Book of Genesis. It starts with the account of creation. We hear that God crowns all that He has done with humanity whom He fashions in His very own image and likeness.
God makes us for Him and gives us deep desires to forge strong, significant, and lasting bonds with others.
- How do we connect with others, especially those God places closest to us?
- How available am I to people I meet along my way, both those expected as well as those unexpected?
- What example do I give regarding the importance of family duties? Social responsibilities?
- Do I ask God to help me interact with others in especially meaningful and respectful ways?
- Do I follow through to completion with a spirit of generosity and gratitude?
