Jesus declared, “I am the Truth” (John 14:6). He explained the devil to be nothing but “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44).
So long as we are afraid of the truth – that is, the whole and entire truth – we have no chance of becoming a person of solid and reliable judgement. Just as water corrupts concrete that still is curing, so does lying compromise our character.
ASK Our Lord to see our errors and defects of character – be not afraid!
ACKNOWLEDGE our shortcomings and failures to Jesus.
RECEIVE God’s gift of forgiveness, which Our Lord ever so deeply desires to lavish upon those who humbly make their way to Him.
THANK God for His kindness and RESOLVE to live in the light of His Truth.
