Fear is an especially unsettling feeling that seeks to influence our daily experience: the fear one person has more than another; the fear of COVID-19; the fear of economic hardship; the fear of violence; the fear of injustice and continuing exploitation of the vulnerable. More broadly, fear of the future is felt associated, for some, with fear of living and for others with the fear of giving life.
The darkness of fear is scattered by a great light that appears. Saint Paul states the truth in this way: “The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people” (Titus 2:11 ESV). Today, look for the light of Christ!
