Our journey across the earthly stage aims to get to heaven. God has made us to dwell in heaven; heaven is our proper dwelling place for all eternity. We are immortals walking through time. At times our earthly trek is harsh, difficult and troublesome because we find ourselves against popular opinions and political correctness. The fact is that followers of Jesus Christ are destined to struggle against enemies that reside both inside and outside ourselves. At each step along our way, God wants to fortify us with hope of Heaven. This especially is true when we find ourselves in difficult moments or when the weakness of our human and personal condition makes itself felt even more.
