FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER [A]

Acts 6:1-7 / Psalm 33 / 1 Peter 2:4-9 / John 14:1-12

Many trumpet fanciful schemes for success. In today’s Gospel Jesus clearly presents Himself to us as “the way” (John 14:6). Thus, our success here and hereafter depends on our faith and trust in the Risen Lord Jesus. Jesus calls each of us to live confidently and considerately as intentional disciples.
