This side of heaven here is an evil always to be feared and avoided with God’s grace – sin.
Sin makes a real mess of things. It makes daily living more difficult and robs us of joy and confidence.. Like a filthy windshield it obscures a clear and accurate line of sight and makes the journey more dangerous, even harrowing. Let us not remove the Lord Jesus from our lives, but rather recognize Him more readily every day and respond to Him with increasing obedience and cheerfulness.
Ask Our Lord Jesus to give us a loathing for sin and zeal for virtue.
