Christian Faith Is Meant to be Lively and Loving

Not only do Christians boldly assert that “Jesus lives!” but that He lives today in variety of ways, personally present among us. We claim that the Risen Christ even lives within us. When we seek to encounter the Risen Christ in our ordinary experience, an increasingly personal relationship is forged. Encountering Jesus makes for what we might call a lively and loving faith.  Our faith, made strong and vibrant by Him, stands to be every bit as real and as authentic as the lively and loving faith of those to whom He first appeared.

Let us take special note of Mary Magdalene. Her patient and difficult searching for Jesus can help us through the intense challenges we face. For sure, external circumstances and personal struggles can make it tough to recognize the presence of the Risen Christ. Whoever sincerely and constantly seeks Jesus always will find Him. Persevere!
