There is a deafness of soul that is far worse than that of the body. Many today have their ears closed to God’s Word. Still others are oblivious to the continuous in-breaking of divine grace every day of their lives. Discipleship that is patient, persistent, full of understanding and marked by constant prayer assuredly will inspire many of our friends to hear the voice of God. Indeed, this is one of the missions God entrusts to everyone in the Sacrament of Baptism.
