Jesus does not sound the alarm to run for cover. Quite the contrary – His call is for us to live in the world confidently and compassionately. Intentional disciples are change agents who make things better wherever they are.
- We might recommend reading from particular saints and other trustworthy sources to friends and colleagues.
- We might be more attending to the needs of co-workers and clients.
- We might pray especially for a sick friend or friend’s family or friend who is ill.
- We might invite people including members of our own family to worship God alongside us at Sunday Mass.
After all, is there any more powerful witness to Jesus than a joyful and caring Christian living in the world?
