LENT has begun. It is the special time for interior renewal that prepares us for EASTER.
Just as a spaceship must separate boosters from the main craft in order for the mission to be accomplished, intentional disciples of Jesus must DETACH from those things that are not of God in order to draw closer to Him and experience deeper joy and meaning.
Detachment from material goods along with special acts of self-giving and self-sacrifice purify us from our sins and help us to find God in daily living.
Commit to making this Lent meaningful.
