Ash Wednesday is two days away – February 10. On Ash Wednesday the great season of LENT begins.
LENT really is not about doing things as much as it has to do with becoming someone.
Focus this Lent in becoming a more faithful and cheerful follower of Jesus Christ. From day one of this special season of grace and for the 39 that follow, dare to make choices that will help bring about this exciting and meaningful result. Forget silly and superficial actions that do nothing to draw us closer to Jesus. Instead, let this Lent be about hatching intentional disciples and parishes of intentional disciples.
