Community Living (2/8)

God has made us to be live with others. We rightly offer whatever we are able to promote the good of others and to help them along their way. An encouraging word, a forgiving assurance, prayerful remembrance, sharing time, patient persistence all go a long way toward making a real and lasting differences.

Be not afraid!

My parents expected their kids to leave things better than we found them. The same expectation inspires friendships to flourish and instills hope among neighbors.

Let’s live today with openness to those whom me meet, especially toward those whom God places closest to us. Seeking to make ourselves available to them, providing solid example in the way we meet our own duties and responsibilities, asking God to sharpen our senses to see opportunities for generosity and to finish everything we begin with a cheerful spirit of sacrifice.

  • How can I live more generously?
  • How can I sacrifice cheerfully?
