Every circumstance in daily living is packed full with possibilities for doing good.
The closer we draw to Jesus the easier it becomes to good things. It comes to feel more natural. During these final days of Advent, sincerely commit to seeing and serving Jesus. Expect to meet Him. Make your heart a crib for Him. Resist temptations for self-promotion. Dismiss seasonal enticements of pleasure, honor, power or wealth. These wily substitutes for God lead souls in one direction: right down the miserable avenue of wasted opportunities.
It helps always to keep the end in mind: eternal life.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus, and do not delay!
