Liturgical Ministers
This ministry is open to all young people 4th grade and older. Altar servers assist the priest and deacons in the celebration of the Eucharist. A training session is required.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) assist the priest in offering to the faithful the greatest gift that God can give us, namely, His Son in the Eucharist. Interested people must be registered parishioners, have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation, and be at least 16 years of age. A training session is required.

[Communion to the Homebound]
These men and women bring the Eucharist to homebound members of the parish not able to join us for Sunday Mass. This ministry is open to parishioners living in the heart of the Church. Compassion, patience, and consistency are essential characteristics for this ministry. Training class, mentorship, and background check are required.

Members of this ministry contribute to our liturgical celebrations by washing and ironing the linens used at Mass and caring for servers’ cassocks/surplic. Mentoring and training is required.

We aspire to be a radically hospitable parish. These men and women help make this happen by cordially greeting members and visitors alike before and after weekend Masses and looking to help anyone needing assistance. They also take up the collection and direct the Communion lines.

These men and women care for and prepare the sacred vessels used at weekend Masses and ensure liturgical ministries are filled. Couples are especially encouraged to volunteer together for this liturgical ministry. A training session is required.

These volunteers operate the laptop and screens at Masses. Training is provided, some degree of comfort with technology and familiarity with the liturgy is expected.

Music
Instrumentalists with adequate experience are welcome to assist with leading worship at 4:30 Saturday Mass, 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. Sunday Masses and 5:30 p.m. Sunday Life Teen Mass. (Audition is required)

Cantors lead the music for worship Masses Saturday 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and on other occasions throughout the year. Our expectation is that these men and women are excellent singers and intentional disciples of Jesus. The ability to read music and have a good ear are required.

The Parish Choir leads the worship at the 4:30 p.m. Saturday Mass and, on occasion, at other Masses from September – May. Membership is open to those high school age and older. There is a weekly rehearsal on Wednesday nights, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The Life Teen Ensemble leads the worship at the 5:30 p.m. Life Teen Mass. Membership is open to those high school age and young adults. There is a weekly rehearsal on Sunday nights, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (Audition is required)

The Funeral Choir leads the worship at Funeral liturgies as needed. Membership open to high school age and over.

Youth Choir is a seasonal choir running from November – December and assists leading worship for Lessons & Carols and the 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass. This choir is open to students grades 4 -12.

Few opportunities have the potential to change a person’s life as powerfully as praying regularly before the Blessed Sacrament. Eucharistic Adoration where Jesus is present in the Eucharist is available every Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Please consider committing to spend 30 minutes a week with Jesus.
