For as long as we are living this side of heaven our life is a constant struggle between love for Christ or comfort seeking.
We hear and listen to the voice of Christ whenever we are trying to grow in faith, hope and love. Fidelity to Christ is forged in good times and in bad. It is important to see struggles as opportunities to draw ever closer to Christ. This happens in tough patches so long as we are endeavoring to rid ourselves of whatever separates us from Him.
While it is for each person to work out the details in their daily living, the central task is the same for us all: always striving to be faithful to Christ.
