Saint Therese Sacred Relics October 9

We have received the privilege of having been selected by the Pontifical Mission Societies as one of host sites during the current national tour of sacred items that Saint Therese of Lisieux used to compose her spiritual classic Story of A Soul along with a collection of other writings including poems, prayers and letters.

The writing case, pen and inkwell of Saint Therese she used almost daily from 1894 until her death in September 1897 will be on display at our parish for the public to view on Wednesday, October 9.  On loan to the Mission Societies from the Carmelite monastery in Lisieux, this is the first time these sacred souveniers of the Little Flower of Jesus have ever been allowed outside the French monastery – let alone seen in the U.S.
