During these holiest of days we especially express to God our sincere sorrow for the personal sins of our own making. Despite our failings and resistance to the love of God, we are called right now to repent.
Meditate on Jesus Who becomes the victim of our sins. Jesus is the real figure and concrete representative of how sin distorts, disfigures and destroys.
