A few more thoughts about today…
First, yesterday is forever gone – vanished and never to return. Its only worthwhile remnants are good reasons for CONTRITION for the things we did not do well, GRATITUDE for God’s graces we received and sincere RESOLUTION of heart to live today well.
Begin TODAY telling the Lord Jesus that we want to see and serve Him all day long. We only need to state simply our earnest desire to recognize His presence in our ordinary experiences from beginning to ending this day. Dare to commit to resisting laziness and idleness the whole day long. Let us approach our duties and responsibilities today with greater hope, knowing that all setbacks can be overcome by His love.
