Faithfulness in Little Things (8/25)

Faithfulness in little things is far more valuable than inconsistent activity in greater things.

Learn and practice the fundamentals of the faith. Live the faith obediently and cheerfully. Jesus teaches that entering into God’s Kingdom has absolutely nothing to do with having smarts and being savvy. It has everything to do with being like a child (cf. Matthew 18:2-4). While you cannot always expect to progress rapidly in sanctity, you sure can plummet in a hurry. Growth in understanding and practice of the faith is best accomplished by means of maintaining a slow and steady heading with our eyes set squarely on Jesus.  Therefore, be patient and attentive with the little things in daily living.
