Today we commemorate the splendid event of the Blessed Virgin Mary entering into heaven body and soul after she completed her life among us.
Mary is the sure and certain hope that her children one day will enter into their glorified bodies in the radiant presence of the glorious Christ Jesus.
Mary instils within us greater confidence. Not only is she the archetype of discipleship, Mary also is the help of all Christians for she never can deprive her children of her motherly care.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
