Men’s Club provides financial support to the parish and school from fundraising activities (fish fries, feather party, bingo concessions) which also fosters parish and community spirit and friendship. Men’s Club also supports the parish scouting program, youth group activities, sponsors adult co-ed summer softball, and hosts an annual golf outing and a Mud Hens game night. All male parishioners 18 and over are considered members of Men’s Club and are all welcome to participate. We meet every fourth Monday in the O’Grady Community Room at 7:30pm (no meetings in the summer).

In accordance with the recommendation first made during the Second Vatican Council (1965), the Pastoral Council considers, plans and recommends ways for the parish to accomplish the mission of Christ. Designed to be a strategic team, the Pastoral Council works closely with the pastor to keep the parish focused on the divine purpose; that is, continuously seeking to follow God’s Will and inspiring the members of the parish family to do the same so to build an increasingly robust, generous and grateful community of faith.

We welcome anyone with a prayer concern to call the Parish Center or the prayer chain minister, Marcia Hartmann. You don’t need to be a member of the parish, nor does the person for whom you request prayer. We also welcome anyone to become a member of the prayer chain which entails simply receiving a phone call, saying a prayer, and making a phone call.
