With thanks to Almighty God and gratitude to Pope Francis, we welcome our new bishop Daniel Thomas. A Philadelphia native where he has been serving as an auxiliary bishop since 20o6, Bishop Thomas will be installed as the eighth Bishop of Toledo at a special Mass on Wednesday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Rosary Cathedral.
On a personal note I have fond memories of interacting with him regularly during my priestly service as vocation director and recall his notable spiritual interests, reflective demeanor and gracious disposition.
